Welcome to Westminster By-The-Sea Presbyterian Church (PCUSA). We’ve been worshiping God and sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and around the globe since 1955. Now we’re beginning an exciting new chapter in our life together as we call our next pastor. Come and be a part of the future at Westminster!

We are Presbyterian. We are governed by elders—women and men elected by the congregation who share leadership of the church with our called pastor. Members and non-members alike are encouraged to participate and serve in all ministries of the church.

We are part of the Reformed branch of the Protestant church. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We are Musical. Our worship is led by our excellent Chancel Choir (accompanied by organ and piano) and Bell Choir. We also offer a seasonal community Concert Series featuring local singers and instrumentalists.

We are Caring. We house a branch of the Presbyterian Counseling Center and host several 12-step and other support groups. Our TLC Committee provides memorial service receptions for grieving families.

We are Whole Health Driven. Our Body, Mind & Soul health series has brought in doctors for skin screenings, nurses for cholesterol screenings, experts on depression and fitness, and doctors who specialize in eyes, feet, and audiology, and other areas.

We are Educational. Classes for all ages meet on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Our youth group meets regularly.

We are Outreach and Mission motivated. Teams from the church serve food at Halifax Urban Ministries, and receive and distribute food at local food pantries. We support international missionaries and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

We enjoy Fellowship. We build relationships over coffee and conversation on Sundays; and book club, games, art and exercise classes, theater productions, as well as meals at local restaurants throughout the month.
